When it first opened, the Boulder Theater showed movies. After several turbulent decades as an on-again, off-again music venue, it is now showing movies. On the occasional Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday, you can stop by for a drink at 6:00, and stay for the movie at 7:00. The programming at the Boulder Theater has included movies from local filmmakers, benefit films, and independent hits.
Caveat: Come early for a table. The regular seating consists of temporary rows of armless chairs that aren't very comfortable.
