This Communistic comedy stars Judy Davis as a radical Australian Communist who travels to Russia to see Stalin in person. Better yet, she gets the chance to sleep with Stalin on his last night on Earth. She gives birth to his son and raises young Joe to be just like his old man. The broad scope of this movie almost does it in, but the subject matter proves to have a lot of comic potential. Children of the Revolution features good performances from Davis, Geoffrey “Shine” Rush, and F. Murray Abraham, as Stalin.
