This awful action/monster movie is actually pretty good, for an awful movie. A gigantic sea-creature (a cross between Godzilla and the Alien movies Alien) decimates a cruise ship and its would-be pirates. What could have been a titanic wreck was somewhat salvaged by an over-the-top whining sidekick named Joey (Kevin J. O’Connor), a few choice lines of so-bad-it’s-good dialogue, and relatively high production values. As my friend said, "it was bad, but it was watchably bad." NOTE: That is NOT a recommendation.
